The Oberammergau ski area in Bavaria, Germany, is a small but child-friendly ski area popular with beginners and families. It spans several areas, including the Aktiv Arena Kolbensattel, Hörnle, Laber, and Steckenberg, with a total of approximately 20 km of slopes. Besides skiing, Oberammergau offers many opportunities for winter hiking, cross-country skiing, and other winter activities, as well as a rich cultural offering with historic buildings, wood carvings, and the famous Passion Play.
