Winklmoosalm - Steinplatte

The Steinplatte-Winklmoosalm is a family-friendly and sunny ski resort on the border of Austria (Tyrol/Salzburg) and Bavaria, offering 42 km of wide, well-groomed slopes, a Steinplatte Snowpark, a Triassic Funline with dinosaur elements, and cozy mountain huts. The area is ideal for beginners, with gentle slopes on the Winklmoosalm, and also for advanced skiers with more challenging runs on the Steinplatte. Besides skiing and snowboarding, there are also winter hiking trails, cross-country skiing opportunities, and a Triassic Park with fossils and a dinosaur theme.
