About Evolène
The Evolène ski area, part of the Swiss Val d'Herens region and the larger Espace Dent Blanche, is a relatively small ski area with 41 km of slopes, ideal for families and cross-country skiers. It is known for its unspoiled nature and off-piste opportunities, as well as for its traditional restaurants and local delicacies. The area's high altitude (1400-3000 m) ensures good snow conditions, but the slopes are not directly connected, making a trip to neighboring Arolla by car or ski bus necessary.
