About Schnalstal (Val Senales)
Schnalstal (Val Senales) is a snow-sure glacier ski area in South Tyrol, Italy, with a long winter sports season from October to May and year-round ski lifts on the glacier (Alpin Arena Schnals). The area offers over 30 kilometers of varied slopes, from wide beginner slopes near the glacier to challenging black runs, and is a relatively quiet destination. The ski area extends from the valley floor at 2,011 meters to the Grawand at 3,212 meters, and a visit to the site of the Ötzi mummy discovery is highly recommended.
