About Alpe du Grand Serre
Alpe du Grand Serre, in the French department of Isère, was a medium-sized ski resort that closed permanently in 2024 due to financial difficulties. Known for its family-oriented atmosphere and freeride opportunities, the resort previously offered approximately 55 kilometers of slopes ranging from 1,367 to 2,184 meters in altitude. Besides downhill skiing and snowboarding, the area also offered opportunities for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking in the nearby Écrins National Park.
