Gaissau-Hintersee
About Gaissau-Hintersee
The former Gaissau-Hintersee ski area in Austria was a family-friendly, compact ski area in the Salzburger Land region with approximately 30-40 kilometers of slopes, primarily blue, and an altitude of 750 to 1,567 meters. It was known for its tranquility, low prices, and proximity to Salzburg, but also for its outdated infrastructure and lift problems. However, the area has been permanently closed and dismantled in recent years.
