The Kaunertal Glacier is a snow-sure glacier ski area in Tyrol, Austria, known for its tranquil atmosphere, guaranteed snow from October to May, and its beginner- and family-friendly atmosphere. The area lies between 2,150 and 3,200 meters above sea level and offers approximately 55 kilometers of slopes, including many wide, uncrowded runs, a children's area, and freeride and snow park facilities. The access road, the Kaunertal Glacier Road, is a 26-kilometer-long panoramic road with 29 hairpin bends to the glacier's entrance at 2,750 meters.
