Skigastein is part of the larger Ski amadé ski area in Austria, known for its four sub-areas: Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel, Graukogel, Dorfgastein-Großarltal, and Sportgastein. It offers 200 km of slopes, with Sportgastein as the highest and most snow-sure sub-area, ideal for freeriders, while Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel is more suitable for families with children and beginners. The ski area is popular with all levels, with modern lifts, fun parks, and a combination of athletic challenges and relaxation.
