Jasná Chopok
Jasná Chopok spans both the northern and southern flanks of Mount Chopok in the Low Tatras. The terrain rises from {elevation_min} meters up to {elevation_max} meters, creating a well-connected network of {ski_area_km} kilometers served by {lifts_total} lifts. The northern side features wide forest trails and modern base areas, while the south-facing slopes offer sunnier pistes and direct access to steep freeride terrain. Modern cable cars connect both sides seamlessly over the ridge. The surrounding Demänovská Dolina valley is rich in mountain heritage. On the slopes, traditional wooden huts known as kolibas serve regional home cooking. Skiers regularly stop for bryndzové halušky, small potato dumplings mixed with tangy sheep cheese and bacon, or a warm bowl of kapustnica, a traditional sauerkraut soup that is a local staple. With {slopes_total} marked pistes and regular appearances on the Alpine Ski World Cup circuit, the resort combines sporty, well-groomed terrain with a distinct Slovak mountain character.
